The Gift of Preparedness: A Back-to-School Initiative
Each year during the holidays, I found myself asking the same question — why is it that new shoes and trendy clothes often take the place of books, backpacks, and school supplies? While style fades, the gift of education lasts a lifetime.
That question inspired us to create a meaningful initiative to support students, parents, and educators in our community. Through this program, we donate backpacks and essential school supplies to local schools, helping students start strong and stay prepared through the end of the academic year.
We also provide supplies to teachers and educational staff, easing the financial burden that so many of them take on just to ensure their classrooms are equipped.
You can support this effort by donating supplies directly or contributing funds to help us purchase these much-needed items.

The Breakthrough Beauty Campaign

At Jade Multicultural Salon, we believe that beauty is more than a look — it’s a moment of rediscovery, self-worth, and renewal.
Launched in 2018, our Breakthrough Beauty Campaign honors those who constantly pour into others but rarely get the chance to pour into themselves. We’re on a mission to gift one deserving individual each season — someone who’s selfless, resilient, and in need of a reminder that they, too, deserve to feel seen, celebrated, and renewed.
Do you know someone who gives endlessly to their family, community, or profession — but struggles to take time for themselves?
We invite you to nominate an unsung hero by submitting a written proposal to thejadesalon@gmail.com. Tell us why this person deserves the chance to experience a powerful transformation through The Jade Experience.
Four individuals will be selected each year, one per season, to receive a complete beauty and wellness experience — a moment to reflect, recharge, and embrace the best version of themselves.
